TERMS AND CONDITIONS
STUDENTS
-Any student taking driving tuition must be in possession of a valid driving licence (provisional/full) which is suitable for the course of lessons they are taking. They must also meet the medical and eyesight requirements of the DVSA www.gov.uk/driving-eyesight-rules
-No student must not be under the influence of drink or drugs at any time. If Susan's School of Motoring detects signs of the above, the remainder of the lesson will be cancelled and no refund will be made
-All students are expected to maintain good behaviour and satisfactory manners. Good behaviour and manners should be exhibited at all times during your lessons. Any abusive behaviour, physical damage or unseemly conduct to Susan's School of Motoring will not be tolerated, and may lead to immediate cancellation of your lessons without refund. In addition, the responsible student must pay for any damage or shortfalls
- The tuition vehicle must be treated with care and respect. Any wilful or malicious damage must be paid for by the student responsible
- In the interests of safety, students must follow the instructors directions and instructions at all times. If the student will not, or can not, act to instructions in the interest of safety the lesson will be ended
INSTRUCTOR- SUSAN HANLEY
-I am DVSA approved and CRB checked
-I will provide a fully insured dual controlled vehicle which will be kept clean and tidy
-I will not smoke at any time in the vehicle
-I will not shout at students. I will listen and treat students with respect and as an individuals. I will remain patient at all times
-If I am running late I will always try to give as much notice as possible. I will carry the lesson over time to make up for any lateness on my part
-I will provide students will progress updates at the beginning and end of each lesson
CANCELLATIONS
When cancelling a driving lesson at least 48 hours notice must be given. Failure to do so will result in the lesson being charged for at the full rate. Lessons should be cancelled by telephone/text/Whatsapp
I can not be held responsible for the cancellation of lessons due to my ill health, vehicle mechanical breakdown or any unforeseen circumstances . However I will rebook your lesson as soon as I have space available
DRIVING TEST
The driving test session includes a 1 hour lesson prior to the test, use or vehicle on test and return journey.
If your driving test is cancelled by the DVSA at short notice due to shortage of staff or sickness I will still charge the full test session fee. However I will assist you in recovering my fee and any out of pocket expenses from the DVSA.
I reserve the right to withdraw the driving school vehicle for use on a driving test if I consider the student not to be at test standard. This is in the interest of road safety.
PAYMENT
Payment should be made by bank transfer. I will share my bank details with you
Block booking fees should be paid in advance and individual lessons fees paid the day before the lesson
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the purchase date.
I reserve the right to amend lesson fees at my discretion
I reserve the right to amend the above terms and conditions at my discretion.
